Time flies when you're having fun...

...it's certainly rang true for this year!

Hello! I feel like opening this post with a greeting to you as I have just observed how grandly I have failed to update!

Apologies- life has been full this year.

Some major changes, some major achievements and some major heartbreaks.

I was reluctant to pose the same question I do for every year post from the last five years, so I didn't, and I am not going to answer it any more. It has served it's purpose and I am more than happy with the outcome of the last five years of my life.

So I'll keep it simple this year.

This year I have a first class, award winning husband (literally), a beautiful, funny and dynamic toddler daughter, and now to compliment the two of them, my husband magically got me my perfect house. Three 'things' that work magnificently together. Three 'things' that make up my dream from many many years of dreaming.

And that's it. Life is full.

I could go on forever about those three 'things', but I think the above is sufficient. There isn't the perfect word to describe how they make me feel and I don't want to underplay it with a whole stream of inadequate babble.

So while I spend my days at home with Skye in our beautiful new cottage, singing songs, reading books, watching cartoons, drawing pictures and building toy towers, and while I look forward every night to my husband coming home from work so I can snuggle him and tell him what a great job he is doing, this year has kind of slipped by faster than I had noticed...

...because I am having the time of my life!

As for my photography work, I have managed to shoot two gorgeous weddings this year. Only two, but I am chuffed because they were two of the most wonderful experiences I have had the pleasure to work at. From these, I have made a new friend and reconnected with another, as well as capture so many beautiful moments from them for my wonderful brides.
I had to temporarily close for business in Leicestershire as we relocated, however, I am now still taking wedding bookings in the Leicestershire area from here in the North West.
I have also photographed the spellbinding highlands again, as well as photography in North Wales and the Peak District.

As per, my photo for each month is below..

I always look forward to a new year. It brings a wonderful sense of determination and eagerness. I wish you all a happy start to the year 2015, and contentment throughout the duration. I shall still be here, whether it be occasionally or more often, I don't know yet, but I shall be continuing in some shape or form!
