April A-Z Blogging Challenge: P

Many of Scotland's lesser roads are single track, and the only way to get two cars going along them is to have these small wide spots in the road called passing places, where one car will pull in to allow the other to pass by. They are conveniently marked with these signs, shown in my photos here along Bealach na Ba, the third highest road in Scotland.

The roadside animals seem to guard their passing places well by staring you out as you drive by, just daring you to come any closer!
