The food of love

You know you have a wonderful husband when he can't wait until the evening to cook you a three course Valentine's dinner from scratch, complete with Shloer and chocolates, and so you end up with a delicious Valentine's lunch instead!
I never knew my husband was such a masterchef but the evidence is right here!

Homemade cheese straws (my favourite) with tomato soup

Mozzarella stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon with roast potatoes and pan fried vegetables

Homemade chocolate eclairs/profiteroles (we couldn't decide which one they looked more like)

Complete with homemade hot toffee sauce

And a nice glass or two of Shloer to wash it all down!

Unfortunately the chocolates were consumed too fast to get a photograph of them, however I can testify they were as delicious as they looked and complemented this well thought out and perfectly prepared meal fantastically.

I am SUCH a lucky girl!

You are a lucky girl! Too bad Duncan and I didn't have a Valentine dinner this year. Just too busy with our two little princesses!

That's lovely Rach! Enjoy it while you can before the children come along :)

Dunc, we'll still be enjoying it even if a dozen children come along!
