Unusual growth

This is probably one of the most unusual trees I have ever seen. It must have such determination to survive under these circumstances, as it seems to grow out from nothing more than a cluster of rocks. I love it's gnarled bark and twisted branches which make it look weathered and ready to retire, however it's remaining green leaves tell a different story.

(Slight chromatic aberration here, but still a nice contrast against the bright sky)

That's an amazing tree! Kind of teaches us a lesson about carrying on against all the odds. Reminds me of a recent Conference talk too...
