3777

...is the number of photographs I can fit on my 16Gb memory card. 3777. Flip. I believe that was one of my greatest buys EVER.
It got me from here...

...to here...
...in 74 days.

3777 photos in 74 days, plus the ones I pre-deleted from my card during that time too.
This makes me a happy bunny!

Blooming gorgeous!

I've been taking alot of photos over the last few days. Mostly because of the gorgeous weather. It makes me happy, and then I am motivated to photograph more. Plus, everything looks effortlessly beautiful when bathed in sunshine. Most of these are taken in my back gardern. The leaves are fresh and green, the flowers glow with colour and the sky looks majestic. I love this time of year!
Again, the tulips are straight out of my camera, no colour correction at all.

Forget-me-not

I love the curly flick of buds fanned out on the end of this little bunch of forget-me-nots. I think the name is very appropriate- we shouldn't forget something as beautiful and immaculate as this little flower, nor should we forget who created them this way.

Happy St George's Day!

Happy St George's day my lovely viewers and followers!
I saw the beautiful blue sky outside and noticed the amount of aeroplane trails there were, since flights are now back on schedule after the Iceland volcano erruptions. It was like each one was a huge paintbrush, leaving their designs and patterns on the big blue canvas up there. I spent the day with Amy, Liv, Sam, Erin and Ethan, swimming and playing at the pool and then munching on burgers and fries afterwards. The highlight had to be a very patriotic bloke walking into Maccy D's wearing one of those silly jester type hats with the England flag all over it and an England shirt. Good on him, though, for so publicly showing his pride for our country! Somebody needs to!

New layout!

I've given my blog a bit of a make over. I wanted a fresh new look, less mess and less clutter. The pink colour was starting to get a bit garish and sickly, so I've opted for a more pure, white/grey theme. I've also updated the header collage, adding more recent and up-to-date work to it. What do you think?

Musical Rain

I forget the name of these strange looking things. My mother bought them a few years ago to put in the garden so that when it rained, the raindrops would land on them and make this dainty tinkling sound. It was really quite fascinating. I can't help but think how lovely it'd be if that very same sound was made every time raindrops landed on humans! I think the world would be a happier and calmer place.

How else could we make the world a happier place?

Baa Lambs

I always love the drive to and from the Temple. The winter months bring gorgeous sunsets over the fields on the drive home, and now these beautiful spring months bring cute, white bundles of fluff- baby sheep! They were everywhere and such a joy to see, even when speeding along the motorway. I managed to catch this on a rare moment when the coach slowed for a second or two. I found it very reassuring how the new lambs stayed close to their Mothers, not straying even a little.

April Temple Day

Today was one of the most perfect days in a loooooong time. The weather was glorious, so warm and summery! And I was in the perfect location, with some of the best people. I love how vibrant the colours are in the Temple grounds. The red tulips haven't even had any colour correction, what you see came straight from my camera! It's quite unbelievable, but true! It was wonderful to have Amy and Eddie there with us too, and I look forward to the coming months throughout summer with them.

Photo of the day

Gaz messing around with my parasol. Love the goldish glow to it. And the 'whoosh' the slower shutter speed creates :)

Out and about

First of all, I want to say a big 'Thank You' to everyone who views my blog. You have now smashed the 1,000 views mark by a long way and hope the next 1,000 views brings as much joy, if not more. So thanks to UK, Malaysia, Canada, Utah, California, New Zealand, Singapore, Borneo, Kenya, Brazil, and all you others around the world that have helped to bring me and my photography this far!

Second, this past weekend was beautiful and sunny and warm. I took advantage and made a trip to Abbey Park and my faithful, loyal fields. I originally went to Abbey Park to get some unique photos at the fair, but alas, there was an entrance fee, which I think is rather disgusting considering the price of the rides and the treats. Ah well. I made the most of the gorgeous scenery and flowers instead.

Amy's outtakes

It's not often you get to see the outtakes of shoots. There always are some. I really had to resist posting some of the best though, because Amy would KILL me if I did! Sometimes the outtakes make for some of the greatest shots of all.
