Call me crazy, but I am totally, completely and utterly in LOVE with this field full of haystacks that I found! I have been waiting months and months for an opportunity like this. It's like a dream! Haystacks are so photogenic, and make for some fabulous pictures. Huge thanks to my two models here, but this set is screaming out for a couple to shoot their engagement photos! How fun would that be?! I have SO many ideas running through my head right now. If any of you out there would like some sexy, unique and quirky photos involving haystacks, please let me know! I am MORE than willing to help you out!

These cornfields right near my house are one of my favourite places to be. I'm working on a little project at the moment involving them, but I wanted to show you some highlights from the set of photos I took today. Every week when I go back to them, there is always something new and exciting to photograph and I feel very blessed to have this beautiful place in my little village!

I found this cute blue hat in a real cool vintage shop in Leicester City Centre. I thought it'd make the perfect prop for some flirty vintage air hostess style photos and Amy was happy to make my ideas become a reality.

I LOVE the dog that came bounding up to me...he looked so grumpy but was quite happy splashing in the water and bounding along with his other 3 doggy friends. The bridge was quite amazing...built in 1860 and now derelict, it made for some beautiful photos, more of which will be shown in part 3. The colours of the boats were so vibrant and were made even more so from the reflections in the canal.

I was able to visit Mountsorrel last week. I have a good friend who took an interest in photography himself after seeing some of my work and he drove me over here to this little piece of heaven on earth. Boats, canals, locks, ropes, bridges, it was all there and it made a nice change to my recent shoots. I really enjoy seeking out the little details that make places unique.

Love these photos. Amy wanted some vintage style snaps, so we came up with an outfit, went out into her garden and snapped away :)
If you were thinking my blog has been a bit 'Amy overload' recently, it's just because she is the perfect model and is willing to do anything for the camera. She's any photographer's dream! She's a good friend to me too (and colours and styles my hair for me beautifully!)
