Mystic ball...

One of the kids brought this ball to church on Sunday after Christmas and all the other kids were mystified by it! It made for some pretty unique photos!

Lost battles

Portraying people's lost battles with the windy rainy weather we had before Christmas. Quite funny really.

Off the wall

Ok, so I find walls sexy. Deal with it.

There's something about walls, roads, lights, padlocks, graveyards, windows, bicycle racks, steps and gates that just get me....I can't help but photograph them. I find them quite irresistable!

Monster slide

We were walking down the icy path en route to the River Soar and all of a sudden this beast of a slide came into view! We couldn't quite believe how huge and tall, and scary looking it was! I made Gaz test it out a few times first before I felt confident enough to play on it!

Forever Family

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure to attend the sealing of a family in my ward at church. Vic, Liz, Natasha and Rebekah have been waiting some time for this opportunity and it finally happened for them. It was remarkable. I had to grab them afterwards for a few photos in the Temple grounds, to capture this special moment for them.

Let it snow, let it snow, LET IT SNOW!

It finally came! A couple of days late, but all the same, it snooooowed! I saw a few isolated flakes fall through a window about 20 metres away from me while I was at work, and then walking home from the church christmas party last night, the heavens opened and flakes started falling fast! It was quite magical! I'm such a kid when it snows...of course it's nothing like the Salt Lake City snow I experienced last winter, but it was pretty impressive for Leicester!

Leicester

A few more randoms from my trip around town. I especially love the ones around Highcross, the cool looking pathway and the rusty old padlock.

Just because....we have snow scheduled for tomorrow's forecast!!!! I'm so excited! Hopefully there will be lots of nice snow pictures to come leading up to Christmas...maybe even a white Christmas! Woohoo!!!
