Earlier today, Gareth and I went for another pleasant stroll into our little village to take advantage of possibly the only nice weather left of this summer. We went up to the village church, but sadly couldn't go inside. So we walked around the graveyard instead and I was fascinated and intrigued by the inscriptions and dates of the gravestones, one dating back as far as 1751. It made me grateful for the history of our village. If you can, have a quick read of some of the engravings. They really are quite touching.
A couple of months ago, I had the privilege to go back to the London Temple after spending 10 months in Salt Lake City. It was a beautiful day with the flowers in full bloom and Moroni now standing proudly in his place. I couldn't resist taking some snaps!

Today was by far one of the best days I've had since being home. Elisabeth, one of my children that I teach at church was baptised today and her little excited face was so beautiful! I managed to capture a few shots for her in memory of the day.

Welcome to my brand spanking new blog! Hopefully very soon it will be filled with photographs, old and new, from my very own personal collection, along with news of life back home in Leicester. I'm new to this so it might take me a while to get my head around it and get my blog up and running, but please be patient and I promise there will be updates soon!
