November Temple trip

I think by now you can guess that I like being at the London Temple just a bit :) Gorgeous surroundings, peaceful atmosphere.

Funny little duck!
I'd never been this far back into the Temple grounds before. Can't think why, because the view was beautiful.

*Note to self: Wear flat shoes next time you decide to take a nice stroll on the soggy grass!

First taste of Christmas

This gorgeous looking mince pie, can you believe it, is only a cheapo one from Iceland! It was actually rather delicious, although I must say, nothing will ever compare to the fabulous mince pies home baked from Elizabeth's English Bakery and Teashop in Salt Lake City. I worked there as a waitress for a few months before I came home to England. Tara is a fabulous baker, and together with her team, she makes Elizabeth's completely authentic and genuine. For a closer look at the yummy delights on offer at Elizabeth's, visit

Temple Square at Christmastime

One word.
Huge thanks to Chad and Emily for taking me along with them. They are the best! Unfortunately alot of my pictures from this evening seem to have gotten lost during my move. So I can only find these four :(

Motion pictures

What do you do when you're stuck in a traffic jam on the M1 on the way home from the Temple?

Take photos!

I think they look really abstract and arty. Oh the wonders of slow shutter speed!

My ginger love

If only he was my Harry. He's no way near as snuggly but he tries his best. He's a close second. That's good enough for me. Here's some photos of him all curled up with me for seven hours on my day off work.

My favourite...

This afternoon, I walked out of Boots where I now work, to take my break, took a couple of steps to the right and saw a huge crowd of people gathered around four smartly dressed guys playing amazing electric instruments. These four guys are known as 'Stringfever'. Their pieces included a five minute history of music, which had the audience watching on in awe and chuckling to themselves. They were one of the best bands I have seen in a long time. So much talent! Well done guys! You were FAB!

(Pity my camera is deteriorating fast. It wouldn't even focus properly for me today, so some of the photos may be slightly blurry. Plus, it doesn't help when dusk starts setting in at 4-stupid-15 pm..)

Ok I just looked on their website...they are actually brothers and a cousin! And are touring around the! You can check out their website at
