All Saints

This church was listed in the Domesday survey in 1086AD. It boasts a 13th Century font, a Medieval circular window, a 15th Century wooden pulpit, an early 17th Century gothic clock case, 15th Century stained glass window fragments, along with many other furnishings and monuments. What a photographic opportunity! I was so fortunate to find this church open on the very day I decided to visit it! Thank you to the very nice guy who left it open for us while he ran an errand and then came back and let us ring the church bell, something I've always wanted to do! The gravestones caught my attention in the church yard too, some of them dating back to the early 1700's again.

Very nice pictures inside the church. I couldn't help but notice a trough that looks like it would be used for the 'evil abomination' of infant baptism!! I just read it recently in Mormon 8.
